Facebook and Instagram users will soon receive a new paid verified badge option in the form of Meta Verified. The $12/month subscription on the web and $15/month subscription on iOS and Android will grant users a blue check mark next to their account name for increased visibility into search, comment and recommendation along with protection against impersonation. priority customer support and exclusive features.
Los usuarios de Australia (19.99 AUD en la web y 24.99 AUD en el móvil) y Nueva Zelanda (23.99 NZD en la web y 29.99 NZD en el móvil) podrán suscribirse a la nueva función de verificación a finales de esta semana.
Once a user applies for Meta Verified, they will be required to confirm their identity via a government ID that matches their profile name and account photo. Accounts must also meet a minimum activity requirement for previous posting history, and the owner must be 18 or older. Businesses are not eligible for Meta Verified at this time.

Facebook and Instagram accounts previously verified using the old notability and authenticity requirements will not be affected.
